Yea its similiar to Xenoverse in that it has a great immersive world hub that connects its modes and overall content and community together in more real immersive style, has character creation, and progression that rewards more things to wear and skills to equip and build your own fighting style, but the similarities only go up to that point. Im not sure if there is a currency system, haven't noticed, there's a large list of score categories and stuff. though not sure about skills/jutsus and other loot being handed out, either ranking up, completing missions, or both.

I wouldn't consider submissions "story" missions.
